Supported students as they develop their unique creative processes and as they produce large-scale mobile sculptures throughout the semester in preparation for the annual FestiFools celebration. Coordinate groups of community volunteers both in the studio and during the celebration.

Advise an advocacy council whose mission it is to promote young adult led advocacy and change by engaging in personal and creative expression within the Alpena community and surrounding areas. 

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM DEVELOPER/INSTRUCTOR, EMPOWERU

August 2020 - Present

Develop educational courses centered on the use of literature as a medium for social change. Facilitate discussions focused on the importance of understanding linguistic and social biases when learning about topics including sexuality, gender, race and socio-economic status.

CO-FOUNDER/PROGRAM DIRECTOR, THE POETICS LAB

Organize, direct and produce a start-up organization whose mission is to facilitate inclusive spaces for communities to engage with identity through poetry and performance of the self. Engage with the community of NE Michigan to develop programming that meets the specific needs and wants of the community.
